Avv. Valeria Giacometti
Counselor Court of Cassation and higher jurisdictions
First of all, I'm a lawyer. It's in my DNA, and gown is my life. As every marriage, mine with my profession is one of those tempestuous unions where you love and hate each other, but being a lawyer is an indispensable part of me.
I was born in Luino (VA) on 12/02/1977. After completing my classical studies, in 2001 I graduated in Law with a thesis on comparative criminal procedure. I have been a member of the Ivrea Bar Association since 2008 and have been the owner of my law firm since the following year. I am enrolled in the list of lawyers qualified to practice ex officio in criminal matters, as well as in the list of lawyers admitted to legal aid in civil and criminal matters. I deal with women victims of violence, having obtained the relevant specialization in September 2018. I am an expert in criminological subjects, enrolled at the Chamber of Commerce of Verona as an expert in crime prevention techniques, and I am a civil mediator with the Bar Association of Ivrea. Since October 2019 I have been a member of the Italian Society of Criminology and I have been qualified to practice before the Supreme Court of Cassation since January 2020.
The experience gained in these years of profession is always put at the service of the Client with whom I try to build a relationship of mutual esteem and trust, working together, making him participate in the decisions taken and the defensive line chosen.
I firmly believe in the rules of the code of ethics governing my professional life and I apply it rigorously to the relationship with clients, in order to provide a transparent service.
